Turquoise, the gem favored by royalties as far back as 5000 years ago, by the Egyptian, Persian and Chinese emperiors is a favorite of many North Americans. Arizona and Nevada have turquoise in abundance, and today, we also have turquoise gems as well as simulated turquoise and turquoise colored beads, glass and crystals tor everyone’s budget and enjoyment.

The technology for glass beadmaking is among the oldest human arts, dating back 3,000 years to Roman times. Perhaps the earliest glass-like beads were Egyptian beads, a form of clay bead. Evidence of beadmaking has been found by archeologists in India dating to the 2nd century CE. These small drawn beads, called Indo-Pacific beads, being the single most widely traded item in history—found from the islands of the Pacific to Zimbabwe in southern Africa. Today, there are several methods used in making beads from using synthetic materials to swavarovski crystal glass beads.

We hope that you can delight in browsing the work of arts inspired from nature’s rocks and human imagination, made into objects that can be incorporated in our daily lives.
